The Five Bells Christmas Menu

Please be aware that as our food is prepared and cooked on the premises in kitchens where nuts, gluten and other food allergens may be present. However, with our strict regimen of food preparation cross contamination is extremely unlikely. Available from Friday 1st December to Sunday 23rd December. Starters

Soup of the Day (freshly made soup served with rustic bread)

Chilled Melon Fan served with orange (V)

Avacado & Mushrooms served with bechamel sauce & stilton cheese baked in the oven (V)

Homemade Chicken Liver Paté served with salad garnish & toasted bread

Sauteed King Prawns in garlic, chilli butter sauce served with salad garnish & rustic bread

Mains

Hand carved Turkey Breast or roasted Pork

served with roast potatoes, sage & onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, honey roasted parsnips, brussel sprouts, carrots and, of course, a Yorkshire pudding.

Fillet of Sea Bass

served either plain or with a garlic parsley sauce with sauté potatoes & roasted vegetables.

Sirloin of Beef Forestiere

served with white wine creamy mushroom sauce, vegetables & dauphinoise potatoes.

Lamb Shank

served with creamy mashed potatoes, rosemary red wine sauce & vegetables.

Beetroot Pearl Barley Risotto

served with roasted butternut squash (V).

Tagliatelle

served in a creamy chicken sauce served with garlic bread.
