The Five Bells Christmas Menu

Please be aware that as our food is prepared and cooked on the premises in kitchens where nuts, gluten and other food allergens may be present. However, with our strict regimen of food preparation cross contamination is extremely unlikely. Available from Friday 1st December to Friday 22nd December. Roasted parsnip & Apple soup (V) with crispy pancetta

Mushroom & thyme potted paté with melba toast and a caramelised onion chutney

Smoked Salmon, prawn, crème fraiche & dill parcel served with a rocket leaf garnish

Ricotta, spinach & beetroot tart in filo pastry (V)

Mains

Hand carved Turkey Breast

served with roast potatoes, sausage & onion stuffing, honey roasted parsnips, carrots, brussel sprouts and a ‘pig in blanket’

Fillet of Plaice

rolled and stuffed with ricotta & spinach served with lemon crushed new potatoes, ribbons of courgettes & carrots with a pesto dressing

Lamb Shank

with a potato & celeriac mash, braised onions & red cabbage with a red wine & berry jus (Please note: this dish carries a
£2 supplement)

Roasted Mediterranean vegetable & brie wellington

served with sweet potato chunks, tender stem broccoli and a tomato & basil sauce
